idk if this counts but i’ve been seeing a lot of “swan queen is dead :/” posts and tweets and it’s making me really bummed bc it’s not dead! xena ended over a decade ago and there’s still cons!!!! we’re still here, we’ve never needed canon, and we won’t be going away any time soon! 💜

even though it’s not technically canon by today’s standard, xena and gabrielle feel like a more nuanced, developed onscreen relationships than a lot of canon f/f couples do :/ that’s gotta change! @ showrunners make an f/f couple the central duo you cowards! also, “send in the clones” felt like it was making fun of xena fans even though (i hope) that wasn’t the intention.
