Belated Day 4 for my #morningwarmupsketch #africanamericansuperhero series. Way back in the early 90’s Fox took an stab at the superhero genre. This was at a time where Fox was taking all kinds of risks to see what would stick. Developed by #SamRami (evil dead, and Xenia) and #SamHamm (scripted #TimBurton #Batman) #MANTIS was a very solid attempt at a black superhero on prime time Tv. This is what Wikipedia had to say:”A wealthy, mild-mannered doctor, Miles Hawkins, is shot in the spine during a riot, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down.
