Are there other Sam or Outlander blogs like yours that don’t push the insane “hiding a marriage with 3.5 kids” thing? I’m not new to OL, but new to the fandom and I’ve always thought Sam seemed like a good dude so now I’m curious about him 😂 (I need a new crush since Chris Evans has officially given me the ick with whatever tf is going on there)

Hi there and welcome! Yes, there are tons of blogs that are SANE and don't push the faux SamCait ship. In fact, the blogs run by Extreme Shippers are much less now that Cait is married to Tony McGill and has a son with him. And Sam has been well documented out with not Cait. Many shippers jumped ship when they could no longer deny the truth.

So, the few remaining ES are the truly delusional ones, who still hold onto the notion that Sam and Cait are secretly married with 5 kids.

I was the FIRST one to tell the fandom, via my insider sources, that Sam and Cait weren't a couple, and that Cait was dating Tony McGill. This was in 2014. Since then, there are lots of blogs who also post the truth. But be careful, some non-shipper blogs are also Sam hater blogs. You'll figure out who they are, because in between all the Sam posts, they'll inevitably post some snark directed at him. I don't do that. I'm not a Sam mommy. I know his shit stinks, just like everyone else's, but he's a good guy, and I don't allow Sam hate on my blog. Or Cait hate. Or hate for their significant others.

No, Anon. Sam and Karina are not thinking about US at all. Sam and Karina are living their lives, none of us is even a bleep on their radar.

Let me list all of the things Sam and Karina are thinking about before they would even come up for air to even remember they have fans: great sex, mornings working out together, rides in the Scottish countryside on Sam's motorcycle, great sex, hiking munros together, cozy nights in front of the fireplace, whisky, great sex, TMGD, Karina's incredible body, Sam’s incredible body, great sex, whisky, great sex, great sex, great sex. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I can assure you that at NO point have either of them turned to the other and said “Hey, instead of 'great sex, workouts, whisky, hikes, great sex,' let’s spend some time sending fans secret clues that we're together." When fans start to think like that, they become conspiracy theorists, and we know some of the worst conspiracy theorists out there are Extreme Shippers, Babygaters, Sam Haters, and the Gay Brigade. That's not a part of the fandom you want to be associated with, Anon.

I would assume because Karina, who works with Ryderwear, gave it to him, and he knew she was coming to visit him. He wore it for HER, not us.

And Karina DID NOT post she was going to Scotland. Tennis player, Taylor Townsend happened to be on the same flight. They were sitting together, obviously started talking, and Taylor tagged Karina. People tag people they meet all the time. 👇

Taylor just met Karina on the plane to Scotland. Do you really think Karina turned to her and said, "Hey, so I've been seeing this actor from Outlander, Sam Heughan. And his crazy fans don't think we're dating, they watch mine and his every move, so can you please tag me on your IG stories so that they'll know we are dating and I'm on my way to Scotland?" Read how insane that sounds.

Let me put it this way...anyone who thinks that conversation happened, or Karina asked Taylor to tag her, or Taylor is somehow part of a bigger conspiracy, or Sam and Karina orchestrated clues to let fans know they're together...is well, to put it delicately, not right in the head. Sorry to be so blunt...but it's really as simple as that. 🤷‍♀️

Anon, forgive me if I sound harsh, I'm actually not directing this at you, you seem nice enough, I'm directing this at the haters who continue to vilify Sam and any woman he dates, and spread LIES.

Do you think the harpies will STFU now that Outlander is over? Or will they continue to look for reasons to hate Sam?

My prediction is the Sam haters will keep hating him for 1-2 more years after Outlander and then they'll lose steam, and find someone else to hate. As for Extreme Shippers, sadly, I think they'll continue for 5-10 more years. That's what I hear has happened in other fandoms. And a few, will literally never stop with their delusions.

Hi there, thanks for your kind words! I'm here, just busy in RL and getting a lot of Anon Asks speculating too much and being silly, so I didn't feel like answering those types of Anons.

As for the Sam haters, I don't follow or look at their blogs, so I'm blissfully free of their hate...unless someone alerts me about it. If you hadn't sent me this, I wouldn't have known they're "in rare form this week." I suggest you not pay attention to their blogs and then you won't see the hate, and then it won't upset you.

I totally get your frustration though. It boggles the mind why anyone would dedicate a blog to hating on someone who has never done anything to them. And why others love to hate Sam. He has his faults, like any man, but overall, he's a good human. The haters should pick on guys who actually are assholes, like Shia, Armie, etc. But you know what they say, "misery loves company." 🤷‍♀️

No, because the abuse Extreme Shippers give any woman suspected of dating Sam is nothing compared to the abuse she gets once it's confirmed the woman is Sam's official girlfriend. Abbie Salt and Mackenzie Mauzy were harassed a million times more once it was clear they were Sam's girlfriend.

As for what you would do if you were Sam's girlfriend, that's what most of them have done...ignored the hate and enjoyed the Sam. 😊

PS. After Karina Elle resurfaced on her Instagram to reply to someone asking if she was dead by saying that she was "alive and happy," the hate from Extreme Shippers, Ex-Shippers, and Sam haters started back up again. Some things never change, sadly.
