well, it’s my first house makeover and i’ve selected @scipisims lot named “avarice acres”. it’s a 40 x 30 family lot. i haven’t remodeled the interior, as i’m only focusing on the exterior. what i liked about this house is it’s shape and how everything was somehow connected. i thought it was really neat to have this small deck in-between the main house and the small extra room outside. also, i loved what was done with the chimney (not in the pics) and it gave me ideas for future builds.
at the opposite, what bothered me at first was the lot size: it’s so huge for me as it can fit two houses like this. but i didn’t change anything as it would be more interesting to create a lavish and huge backyard (i’ve only work on the frontyard right now). i thought smaller walls will fit better and i also added clutter and plants here and there to make it look more lively. i’m still not sure about the clapboards color i chose but thought it looked somehow nice, i guess.
