Just finished reading Careless People today, it's a book written by a Facebook whistleblower/former employee who joined the company as she saw the potential for the good it could do for the world - well we've seen how the head honchos at FB seem to have lost any sense of human decency unfortunately and cause so much harm just from articles we've read over the years.
However it did make me think about how I'm seeing people on Tumblr use this website for so much good recently - helping each other and especially where it concerns trying to help the besieged population of Gaza. That's been the case for the past two years actually.
I know the company itself has faults but i can't deny the people who actually use the site are pretty amazing.
I've been speaking to the family of @samirahmed125 recently - his health condition has worsened especially due to the heat and conditions overall.
If you could please could you continue to help Samir Ahmed by sharing his campaign widely, donate if possible and please remain hopeful for the people of Gaza, for their continued existence and for a good outcome for them. Please don't lose hope when it comes to Gaza. They are still here and surviving.
