You seem to witness a familiar scene from earlier. Where Diane has a conversation with a starry umbreon. Though now it is a few seconds after Diane has bolted out the door and she is on her way into a nearby woods.
As Diane hops her merely way through the seas of golden wheat towards the woods, she begins to hear a strange sound. A sound like the rustling and crunching of dried wheat under a fellow pokemon's paw. Not just any Pokémon, but one that seemed light on their feet. Light in the sense that they seemed to be no harm.
Just to be safe however, Diane kept her pace fairly faster.
Soon the skitty finally made it out of the field. Having no sight now of the small cottage... No sight of Sammy anywhere.
"The forest," Diane said in awe. "Its so large- and darker.. Hopefully I didn't mistake where I needed to go.."
Diane then heard the familiar rustling coming from the wheat field behind her. She jumped, only making a slight squeal. She then darted I to the forest. Not looking back. Only moving forward.
Making all kinds of wierd turns from going right and over a log to going left only then to make another left.
Again the rustling noise had found her. Diane was not for sure something was following her every move..
"Diane," a calmed voice called out. "Diane, oh thank Arceus I found you."
"Do- Do I know you?" The skitty called out with fear.
"Of course you do~ You just dont know me yet, let's say.. I'm a friend of Solstice. "
The unknown mon then stepped from out of the shadows. Revealing themselves to be a sylveon distinct mon, with unusual markings.
"If you would Diane- and make this easier for both of us."
The sylveon approached Diane slowly. Her ribbons stretching out further as she stepped. Diane was getting extremely nervous by this.
"Who- who are you? Tell me directly, who or what... You are..."
Diane questioned as she took a couple more steps back. Finally stopping at the slight sound of water rushing behind her. Though, only trees showed.
"All I can tell you now, Diane.. Is I'm not what you think I am- and I just need you to come with me. Everything will be explained then... Trust me- Im on your side."
"N- no... If I've learned anything- it's that I am my own side.. That I shouldn't trust anyone anymore. I just took a big risk staying at a random mons house, and heck I made a big mistake trusting someone who I though was my friend... Who would help me..."
Tears of fear and anger poured down Diane's face as she slightly glanced behind her. Seeing her foot had somewhat disappeared beyond an unknown force. Though the sound of rushing water again attracts Diane's attention.
She takes a few steps back again. Slowly disappearing as she stepped back. Until suddenly Diane went away in a flash. The sykveon mon rushed to wear the skitty had disappeared but was stopped.
A force kept her within bounds. She held her paws against the force that bounded her and looked to the ground.
Off went Diane and Sammy. Heading towards their next destination.
Sammy made the most of moment and began to pick some wildflowers from off the side of the path. He then threw them up in the air, watching as they danced bacn down to Earth. Diane then did the same thing and the two laughed.
For a brief second, Diane thought that everything was perfect. From the company to the scene.
Though the two had not gotten from Rockquake when a of a sudden things seemed to turn for the dark.
Diane all of a sudden felt rather sleepy. Her eyelids disobeying her will to keep awake. She called put to Sammy who was not even a few feet a head if her.
"Sammy! Oh, Sammy hold on!" She hollered, hoping he'd hear. Though no response.
Diane then suddenly collapsed to the ground. She felt weak and exhausted. She tried to call out to Sammy but no sound came out of her mouth.
When all hope was lost however, Diane heard a faint voice calling out to her.
"Diane.. Diane," It spoke.
Diane finally closed her eyes. Giving into her sleepish feeling. She finally reopened them. Only to see an Umbreon standing before her.
"Diane- oh Diane I'm so glad your awake! Hurry you must leave right at this second. That horrible zorua you mentioned- They they're here." She umbreon loudly whispered. Hoping the pokemon knocking on the front door did not here.
Diane surprisingly recognized this mon at last and replied to her, "Oh no! Oh no Oh no.. How did he find me? And so soon.."
Diane then hopped out of the low bed she was sleeping in, picked up a nearby sachel on the floor, and began to head to a back door of the small building.
"Thank you again so much Miss Solstice for letting me stay. I just hope I didn't rope you into something possibly dangerous.."
"Nonsense Diane! It is the least I can do for what you've said you've been through. Remember now to look for the small stream just not to far away from here. From there it will take you downstream to the forest where it will take you to the ither side of the island. Far from here. I'll hold off the zorua and try to steer him clear. Got it?"
"Yes ma'am!"
"Good now go!"
With that the young skitty bolted out the back door of the small place. Running off into fhe seas of golden wheat.
You seem to witness a familiar scene from earlier. Where Diane has a conversation with a starry umbreon. Though now it is a few seconds after Diane has bolted out the door.
The umbreon's facial expression changes from a saddened farewell expression to a maniacal witch grin.
They slam the door behind them before waltzing their way to the front of the building. Then upon reaching the front door, their grin widens.
"Sammuel."
"Solstice."
The two stare eachother down with an unsettling amount of hatred within eachothers eyes.
"Its quite surprising indeed Sammuel how Comet and I have managed to lure in the little runt in a way more sufficient amount and time than you have ever gotten too in all these months. Soon enough she'll see reason to our way- and ding dang we'll be purified, and your existence isn't totally meaningless."
"Very funny Solstice..."
"What is?" The umbreon smirked. "The fact that me, a corrupted mon is able to do a job that of a god- or the fact that someone actually did the job you were supposed to do?"
Sammy was silent.
"That's what I thought. Now you listen to me Sammuel.. The boss I formed me today that he wanted to see you when I saw you."
"Okay well just tell him I'll meet with him when they bring Diane back to headquarters."
The umbreon then yanked hard on the zorua's tail.
"No see you misunderstood me. The boss wants to see you now."
A dark portal then suddenly appeared behind the umbreon.
