Aaaaaalll the time! Like stretching and poking to annoy people and make them poke back, “don’t do that. It tickles”, etc. Never works, tho. Thank you so much for asking, Sammy ajsndsfhjd ♥♥♥

Rise and Shine || [Jean/Marco]

Summary: Nothing beats sleeping in, right? However, Jean has other plans for his heavy sleeper of a boyfriend today!

Yeah, a shitty summary, but I’m actually pretty happy with how this turned out! This is a bit fluffier than what I’m used to writing, but I needed to get into a different kind of tickling territory anyway XD For @giggleez, hope you like it! ^^

Morning sunlight filtered through the blinds, shining spotlights on the tangled sheets and the two current occupants of the bed. Jean rolled over and rubbed his eyes with the heels of his hands - a few of the beams had the audacity to shine directly into his eyes. It was like the sun was out to get him or something. He ran his fingers through his ash-colored hair and looked to the left at the sleeping bear he was sharing a bed with. No, not an actual bear, but the way Marco was snoring reminded Jean very much of a hibernating beast.

He rolled over and lovingly brushed a few stray hairs out of the taller boy’s eyes. Marco was adorable when he was asleep, no doubt about it. He slept on his stomach with one side of his face mushed into the pillow, giving him the appearance of a bulldog. Jean felt his face soften and a smile creep onto his face; Marco had a special way of melting the blond’s heart that no one else could emulate. Jean’s hand roamed over Marco’s freckled cheeks, making the latter’s nose scrunch. Fuck, he’s cute...

Jean’s hand continued mapping out every inch of Marco’s face, tracing from his cheek down to the valley of his neck. Marco twitched ever so slightly in his sleep as Jean moved down his neck and ghosted over his ribs. Marco rolled onto his side, eyes still heavy with sleep as they opened up. An affectionate, almost impish glint flashed across the light brown irises as he reached up to ruffle Jean’s already-messy hair.

“G’morning, you goof.”

“Sleep well?”

Marco’s rubbed his eyes, voice heavy and slightly gravelly from disuse. “Like a log. How about you?”

“I would’ve slept a helluva lot better without you snoring,” jeered Jean with a smirk. He gave his lover a playful shove. 

“Whoa! It’s too early for this kind of violence!” Regardless, Jean still got a shove back.

“Wanna help me make breakfast?”

He groaned and rolled back over onto his stomach, mumbling something unintelligible into his pillow. Jean grabbed his arm and tried to get him to sit up. “Come on, up and at ‘em, tough guy.” Marco shook his head and yanked the covers back over his head. Jean raised an eyebrow. So that’s how we’re gonna play it, eh? “Last chance, Marco!”

No response. 

Jean grinned and cracked his knuckles. In one deft movement, Jean leaped with catlike grace and straddled his lover’s back. Before Marco could protest, the blond’s slender fingers clutched his sides and squeezed.

“H-Hey! Cut it out, Jean!” 

“What’s the matter? You ticklish or something?” Jean smirked - he knew that Marco Bodt, his loving, supportive mama bear of a boyfriend, was one of the most ticklish people to walk the planet. The lightest brush to his sides or belly would send him jumping back and curling to protect himself. Marco was normally pretty good at holding off Jean’s attempts, but if the latter could get the drop on him, Marco would be reduced to a puddle on the floor in a matter of seconds. 

“You know damn well I’m-ACK!” Marco’s body jolted upward, almost bucking Jean onto the floor. 

“Whoa, someone’s got a ticklish back!” Jean reinforced himself on top of his victim and peppered the boy’s back with kisses. He kept his hands busy too, pressing tiny indescribable shapes into Marco’s neck. “You give up yet?”

“Get off me, you ahahahass!”

“Ah ah ah, that’s no way to talk!” 

“You piece of sh-shit! Ehehehe!”

Jean tutted and shook his head. “Alright, that was your warning!” I hadn’t planned on going there, but...

The ash-haired boy turned around and, while making sure his butt was firmly planted on Marco’s lower back, walked his fingers up and down the backs of Marco’s thighs. 

Marco exploded with laughter. Jean had to fight to stay sitting on him, for all the bucking he was doing. “NOHOHOHO STAHAHAHAP!!”

“Mmmmmmnope! Not yet!” Jean alternated between squeezing his thighs and scribbling in the hollows of his knees so quickly that Marco barely had time to react to one set of tickles before the next one started. It wasn’t until Jean’s hands curled into claws and grabbed Marco’s buttocks (a tickle spot that Marco made him swear to take to the grave) that the dark-haired boy squealed.

“OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY UNCLE!! I GIHIHIHIVE!” Marco gave one last almighty lurch and sent Jean toppling to the floor. His head hit the wall with a solid-sounding clunk.

“Ow, you bastard!” laughed Jean, rubbing his sore head. Marco was still laying in the bed, curled up in a ball and giggling even though he wasn’t being tickled anymore. Once the remaining tickling sensations subsided, his eyes grew as large as saucers and he jolted out of bed to Jean’s side.

“Are you okay? Oh my god I’m so sorry! Are you hurt? Do I need to get the first aid kit??”

“Relax, Marco, I’m fine,” laughed Jean. “Guess I deserved that, huh?”

“...maybe a little, yeah.” 

Jean gave Marco’s cheek a quick, affectionate pinch. “C’mon, I’ll make you blueberry pancakes.” He picked himself up and made his way out of the bedroom. What he didn’t noticed was the smirk that crept onto Marco’s face.

“Only after I get my revenge...” whispered the freckled demon, creeping toward Jean with waggling fingers.
