Far too much had happened in such a short time, Marius granting the dark gift to Armand's companions had not fully been digested as it followed Armand's near death. Kept away from familiar faces he left all believing they witnessed his death as he clung to his existence in agony.
Weakened as he was Armand did not have the patience to teach those new to the blood. That responsibility fell to Marius, his desire to teach never could be quelled giving him minds desperate to learn was a blessing was it not?
