Thunderstorm alert...and my babies #sampsonandspencer hide out in my bedroom! Going to miss my babies, #sampsonandspencer 😔😢😭 they’re going to be adopted separately by friends. They’ve been together since we adopted them from the shelter 7 years ago. And my big boy is so protective of his little brother. They were taken in temporarily by friends when my son in law went into surgery for his kidney transplant and his recuperation. Our friend who took care of #spencer told me that my little boy had #separationanxiety issues. He didn’t want to be left alone. He howled most of the time. He tried to run away once trying to find his way home 🐾🐾. But Godwin’s nephrologist told him in no uncertain terms that he’s not yet out of the woods - and he mandated that he has to keep a #sterileenvironment meaning #nopetsallowed I’m so disheartened ... but of course, it can’t be helped. I only wish I could have been in a position to bring them home to California. My consolation is that the same friends will be adopting them. So, when I go visit my home city, I’ll be able to see my little ones! 😔😢. My heart is breaking. 💔💔💔 I hope there’s a cure for #heartbreak (at San Antonio, Texas)
