Some old fashioned angst for your Monday. I've played this video so many times the last few weeks, I can't even remember if I've shared it already, but who cares, it's worth it.
I really love the choice in this vid to focus on details, small moments, like John drawing on himself. It's so good, with the very strong beat in the music lending itself to a really moody, painful, rhythmic repetition. The song is pretty much perfect, "Consequence" by The Notwist, and the theme is John's twin obsessions, Aeryn and wormholes.
It's so good I actually forget this video is almost old enough to vote. My brain just gets sucked in and I'm thinking about how their choices, especially John's, lead them to the brink of disaster and beyond over and over. Such delicious angst.
The YouTuber Sams90 looks like they rescued a few other Farscape creators' videos. This one is apparently by Synecdochic, who had a livejournal and this one great Farscape video. Give this a listen, and start your week with melancholy and spite.
