I would say show this video to anyone you're trying to get to watch the show, but it's got far too many spoilers, so you'll just have to get them to watch it, and then watch this 25th anniversary tribute as a little nostalgic endcap to the experience.

The music is by Sleeping at Last, and it enhances the well chosen lines from the show, rather than competing with them. It fits so well, I thought it was from the soundtrack. Ghost17J's signature is finding parallel moments and this video is full of that, with visuals chosen from across the seasons to resonate with quotes about love, family, and the sweep of destiny.

Some gorgeous angst for Monday morning? Don't mind if I do!

One of my favorite topics is the subject of this fanvid: the tragedy of TalynJohn and Aeryn's love, and its aftermath. The slow rendition of "Cruel Summer" by Kari Kimmel pairs perfectly with the pain Aeryn suffers through, both immediately after in The Choice, and once she and MoyaJohn are reunited.

Creator Cat Bru did some lovely fanvids over a decade ago, but I really enjoyed what they could do with modern upload quality, because this is just haunting. The music encourages the camera to linger on scenes many fanvids just quickly cut through and it makes the whole video feel heavy and oppressive. I love it! You will too.
