I think Misha is talking from Castiel's point of view, because sadly Castiel is being used as a tool, by Naomi, and he's been used as a tool before, he was basically a tool for millions of years. He still has that mindset that he is a tool, and I think Misha is speaking from that. Dean prayed to Cas because he trusts and loves him.

I agree 100%. I mean it's OBVIOUS just from Dean's face how much he cares about Cas. Why would he look like that if he just wanted Cas because he's useful? No, he's worried about him. Because he loves him.
