Tuesday Morning Shout Out!!! Good Morning All! I know, I know! I missed my Monday morning greeting and I was feeling some kind of way about it... So I decided to give you a shout today! I hope and pray you had a good weekend and start to the week. The weekend was relatively busy and sad all in one fail swoop. One of DC’s legendary DJ’s passed away which sent a ripple affect through the city and through our DJ community. I never had the privilege of DJing with Sam “The Man” Burns, but I sure did hear him spin, admire him, and had the occasion to talk with him and receive the goodness that he exuded to almost everyone he came into contact with. He was always encouraging and made it a point to help out whenever and wherever he could. I created a mix of music that I know he was famous for playing while also playing music that I think he would LOVE (as if we had a set together). I truly hope you check out the mix and say a prayer on remembrance and support for his artistry. Prayers and condolences to his friends and family alike. On another note... PLEAS BE CAREFUL and make sure to protect yourself! This Coronavirus is no joke and should be treated with the utmost seriousness. I failed to mention and remind some of us who are in primary voting states... TODAY is the day to make your voice heard! So if you live in one of the Super Tuesday States.... VOTE!
