Burr : *looks up at shocked IKEA guy* Yeah we will take this one

Samuel Seabury woke up on his 18th birthday at around 10. He knew the mark wouldn't appear until 11:31 so he got dressed slower than usual. As he made his way downstairs he could already hear the chatter of his family members,

"Oh i'm sure she'll be pretty,"

"And if she isn't i'm sure she's nice,"

"It could by Ms. Catherine Fisher"

"Oh no, It'll surely be that girl that lives across the bakery,"

was all he heard. He cringed at every word.

You see, Samuel was different from his family. He was gay. Samuel liked guys. He just couldn't tell them. If he did, he would be kicked out. They were all extremely religious, and so was he, although it was hard to not be gay when you’re born that way. Samuel saw it as more of a curse, although,

"Oh! Here he comes! Samuel, has it appeared yet?"

"No mum, not until 11:31," he states before sitting down on the couch. Everyone just kept talking. The dormant dread he had locked away began to pile up in the back of Samuel's throat as he wondered if it would be better or worse if it was a girl's name. He would be kicked out if it was a boy's, but he liked guys. Not girls. Every minute that ticked by made him more and more anxious. The doomsday clock weighed down on him and he started to have a hard time breathing, he didn't know what to do. He could run, but that would be stupid. He couldn't hide. The poor boy just wanted the time to go faster. But also slower. He really didn't know, and before he thought possible it was already time.

His family crowded around him, and everyone watched as the letters slowly appeared on his forearm. Their curiosity turned to horror, and Samuel gulped,

Everything after that was a loud blur of insanity and fear, the next thing he knew he was outside with all of the stuff he could carry crammed into a backpack and tears staining his face. The pain from the bruise forming on his right cheek was nearly ignored when he tried to remember why this had to happen to him.

He, as most anyone who hadn’t been under a rock for the last thirty years, knew who this George was. He was a CEO for a big company, his estate was a few miles away. It was the only place he could think of to go. He would get there by nightfall if he was lucky.

Heh, Lucky...

He'd never been lucky in his life.

Sorry this is short, i'm bad at starting stories ehh

Either way all the other chapters are 2K-4K words so they’re a bit longer

Whenever I’m sad, I like to imagine I have Hamilton characters in my pocket, and I can place them in my hand or on my desk for encouragement. For example: ~Angelica makes sure that you are always satisfying with every circumstance you are in ~Eliza is good with helping you handle depression or loss ~Phillip can help you in social situations ~Alexander can encourage you during work or school to finish an essay and so on ~John Laurens can help you feel excepted, no matter what your race, sexuality, gender, etc. and tries to prevent you from inflicting self harm. ~Lafayette makes you feel beautiful no matter how you feel about yourself ~Thomas Jefferson helps you improve your confidence so you can try something new ~James Madison comforts you when you are upset or sick ~Hercules is your little fighter that will battle off anybody who is bullying you or making you feel upset ~Burr is just a silent reminder that somebody loves you ~Maria will help you say no to things you don’t want to do ~Peggy makes sure you are not forgotten or left behind
