yayayayayayayayy the samurai champloo blu ray i bought came in!!! im checking out all three discs right now, but it seems like its the show, some trailers, and a couple gallerys, creditless opening and endings. though i wish it had the adult swim alt ending they did for an episode. though i wish i had a better bluray player, then i could comment on the quality of the picture, but alas.

front cover is different to the inside cover. nice!! cool record look for the disc. no sleeve though. but over all, nice to have!

though i know discotek would have made a WAY better release than this, but they are the best company for buying physical anime.

I must confess: as much as I adore that Milan Kundera book, I have not read it! The quote was used in one of my favourite books, Shanghai Baby by Wei Hui. This book has haunted me since high school and that quote in particular, so I think about it all the time. I'm a fake Milan Kundera fan 🤣

What do you feel about Samurai champloo live action that suppose to come out, and who would you want to play Mugen, Jin and Fuu?

You know, I was a fan of Bebop on Netflix. I know I'm on an island of 1 but I still stick by my enjoyment of that series and I was ready to see it through to the end. I just hope Champloo is done well and if done well I hope people actually give it a chance. With Watanabe actually involved this time around there's a more fair opportunity at that. We're all gonna have to wait and see how this unfolds.

As for a cast I genuinely can't even say. For me it's one of those things where I have to first see someone embody the character to go "Okay; THAT'S them". It's a lot like live action One Piece. It was incredibly hard to see the vision until it was straight up just shown to us.
