I love this line (S.1 ep.6):

"You know, I was scared that you'd be hell incarnate. I hoped you'd be heaven incarnate. But you're not either of those things. You're much better. You're human incarnate"

Although Aziraphale has lived millennia with humans and has seen the wars, the pain, the injustices... he loves people. He can see the good in them. He is a being who perceives love, and humanity is love. Crowley also loves people, he is always surprised by them. Everything in GO is a hymn to humanity, with its flaws and its strengths

As another character I adore, Samvise Gamgee, said... "There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for"

Given what is happening in the world, it is very difficult to see the good, but if we look carefully, as they say in a film by a director much loved by Crowley, love, actually, is all around... and it's worth fighting for
