wip ask game: What are you most excited about with finishing this WIP?

having a hard copy of something i've created from start to finish. the feeling of accomplishment in reaching such a huge goal that i've had for so long. that feeling that i have something tangible that i can be proud of.

POW!WOW! HAWAII

A self-confessed introvert, self-taught Melbourne artist Sam Yong appreciates solitude and has developed a love of nature and solo adventure. In early 2018 however, Yong was happy to trade solitude for an opportunity to work alongside a roster of well over 50 local and visiting artists, painting in and around Honolulu’s Kaka’ako neighborhood for the annual Pow!Wow! Hawaii festival. Yong’s contribution is behind the @FisherHawaii warehouse at Pohukaina and Coral Streets.  @samyongart  @powwowworldwide

pencil ; where do you do most of your brainstorming?

i answered this a couple times (noggin, google docs, and a little notebook) but i will make note of my brainstorming method: literally just writing bits of dialogue for a character to say or a scene that needs to go... somewhere. that's my process for camp nano right now........ i need to start outlining, seriously.

tropes ; what’s your favorite trope to write?

i answered found family before, but my second favorite involves characters' emotions: MUTUAL PINING!!!! the hidden feelings and assumed unrequited..ness? ugh. i can never get enough. especially if something romantic randomly happens and they both pretend it didn't or that it didn't mean anything.
