It would be nice to have some company over for just a moment. Chastity had to return home for a little bit, afraid that he was smothering Death too much. While it was nice that Death had let him stay over, he was afraid of becoming a problem for him, an annoyance. He had already done that enough this week.. The virtue promised to return in a few hours or a day.. but soon. As much as he wanted to, he couldn’t leave him alone with that wound still healing.

But being alone felt so... strange. After he had enjoyed his privacy and quietness, the two story home felt like it was so empty as of right now. There was nobody here to be with him, nobody here to take his mind off of things. The news were playing on the TV as he sat in the Reader’s Nook by the front wall of his house, staring out at the sky around him and the few lights that flickered in the suburbian area that he chose. The first floor of his house was more than enough room for him. A living room, a nice bathroom and a beautiful kitchen.. There was even a nice little garden with a big tree in the back where he usually sat on the bench under the shade after tending to the garden he had.

Stairs lead up to the second floor which was where his room was. Away from company if he had any, but it was still too big for him. The first floor was covered in books, star lights dangling from the walls around his bed, bookshelves and blankets placed everywhere, even beanbag chairs for reading and napping..

But it was too big for him.

And with that, the Virtue had invited Raphael over for some tea and company.. Just something to take his mind off of the events.
