The Heroes and Hangouts Aboard Sanctuary III
Sanctuary III is our main base of operations in Borderlands 3. The spaceship will change with you over the course of the game as you recruit new allies and complete Crew Challenges.
Deck A - Upper Level: On the Bridge we will find Commander Lilith and the Hyperspace Terminal where we can travel across the galaxy. The Infirmary doubles as a laboratory for Patricia Tannis.
In Hammerlock’s Trophy Room we can admire all the creature heads mounted on the wall from past hunts by Sir Alistair Hammerlocks’s Crew Challenges.
Deck B - Mid Level: Our Vault Hunter will have a room to their own in the Crew Quarters, where we can admire and show off our loot. We can also find a Fast Travel station (our “landing pad” when we return to Sanctuary III), a Quick-Change Station, and the all-new Lost Loot Machine.
Within our room we will have our own Player Bank vault which doubles as storage and a way to transfer loot to another character, as well as wall mounts to show off our favorite loot. Each Vault Hunter has unique additions to their rooms: FL4K has a litter box for their pet Spiderant, Amara has a punching bag, etc. You will find and unlock room decorations as we progress through the game to further make your room (and game) unique to the player.
Marcus will not only sell guns and ammo at Marcus Munitions, but Storage Deck Upgrades as well from ammo capacity to the amount of loot that the Lost Loot Machine stores. Below Marcus’ Shop we can find the shooting range, an upgrade from the last installment as this one has a “minigame” with Normal and Challenge modes. The Golden Chest can also be found within the vicinity of Marcus’ shop.
Moxxxi’s will feature various slot machines: Loot Boxer, Cash Trap, Tink’s Hijinx, and the Vault Line machine which can only be played by spending Eridium.
Deck C - Lower Level: The Cargo Bay houses three crew members living in semi-harmony: Ellie who proudly displays vehicles and upgrades found in the field, Claptrap and his own closet-sized room where he’s assembling his new girlfriend, and Crazy Earl who deals in Eridium Shards for cosmetics and Anointed Gear.
