I have spent the last three days on a massive unfucking mission in preparation for an inspection. In our world, the place is looking awesome, but I fear my letting agent lives on a different plane of reality and will be looking for more than I've actually managed to do. I am exhausted, but also incredibly anxious about the visit. Have you any tips on dealing with letting agents when they visit?

Generally, landlord/letting agent inspections tend to be to make sure that the property isn't being damaged and isn't in a state of disarray and that there are no repairs needed. Double check that your appliances are cleaned off, your floors are in good shape, and that overall the place looks clean and well-maintained. Don't stress yourself out too much about it, because if they're going to be looking for something totally bizarre, there's really no way to prep for that aside from an overall clean property.
