This nice and chubby sand frog (Tomopterna sp.) was standing peacefully on algae into a small pool in the middle of the harsh and rocky landscape of Brandberg mountains (Namibia). Here rains are seldom seen. How these Amphibians can thrive in such unfriendly environment always amazes me. Into the water there were also hundreds of toad tadpoles and dragonflies, beetles, bees and butterflies were flying around.
