So if some Aenerians have Sandgold in their blood, that means Aenerian blood not only sparkles in certain lighting conditions, but also is generally thicker.
Sandgold as a liquid is a thicker almost sappy-syrup-like fluid. 55% of your blood is plasma, which is everything but red and white blood cells and platelets. 92% of that plasma is water. I'd say 2-4% of what would be their water in the blood is replaced by Sandgold, thickening it just slightly. Molecule wise, Sandgold must be large enough to not be pushed through the kidneys or filtered out into lymph. (After all, if it is being pushed through the kidney's nephrons, they would be pissing Sandgold. This also means Sandgold would not be found in the cells of an Aenerian, hence why they don't sparkle in the sun twilight style.)
If Aenerian blood with Sandgold is generally thicker, that increases blood pressure, puts more strain on the heart, causes more clotting, etc. However, at the same time, Sandgold naturally speeds up an Aenerian's healing processes (slightly).
I'm sure the Aenerian body has adapted for Sandgold, so this isn't an issue, but also really an interesting thing to consider.
