Sandstorms. 

The sand rubs their sunburnt skin raw, and the dust is suffocating and all encompassing. Their eyes burn with dry tears. Moreover, sand fills their wounds, packing them with a bacteria-infested filling that will surely cause an infection if left untreated.

Thought I’d share a couple images of what sandstorms can look like in Egypt.

Visibility becomes awful obviously, and your airway fills with sand, hence why people cover their faces. (Some non-Middle Easterners think face covers originated from religion but that’s not accurate. It’s for protection against the elements)

And in the comments here, it advises people with respiratory and allergy issues to stay indoors and lock up every window and door. It also advises to drive very slowly and steer as far away as possible from any poles. That’s because many poles are not properly insulated, and in weather like this there have been terrible tragedies of people dying of electrocution even without touching the poles. Comment in the last photo says to call 114 to report any fallen trees, billboards or light poles.

 someones dream from long ago or maybe its a emotion they are trap with in their troubles. i looked up the dreams to see if it had meaning with in my old friend art from long ago. it seems to be close to her story of a comic she may back then that had to do with sand.i could be incorrect.but  it was interesting to look deep with in.
