Sandy Linter was a world renowned makeup artist in the 1970s who worked with Debbie Harry, Jackie Onassis and Brooke Shields, among others. She became famous as Gia Carangi’s girlfriend. Their tryst became one of the first high profile lesbian relationships. Gia was also one of the first Supermodels before she tragically died of AIDS in 1986.
