Period of Adjustment at Almeida Theatre 2006
Margaret Brown (Sandy McDade).. Lark Rise To Candleford (2008–2011).
Margaret Ellison necking a bottle of sherry is my spirit animal.
Play 22: Iron by Rona Munro
First performed: Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, 2002
Quote: "I remember every moment of your life from when you were born till the day they took me away from you. I remember what you looked like, what you wore, how your hair was, what you said... what you felt." (Fay)
Notable cast: Sandy McDade originated the role of Fay, transferring with the play from the Traverse to the Royal Court Theatre and subsequently winning the Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress in 2003
Notes: a painful study on the way women love - their partners, their families, one another - and the dangerous intensity of passion in all its forms. Munro draws on themes of memory and identity to create a tight, contained tragedy delivered in retrospect; more crassly, a 'whydunnit' as opposed to a 'whodunnit'. A deceptively simple premise that rewards close reading, with multiple callbacks and foreshadowing hidden in apparently inconsequential dialogue.
Read: for the first time.
Stage Door: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Palace Theatre, London

Can someone teleport me to London? My friend is sending me pics of Jamie Parker at the stage door!
To all the Cursed Child fans who can't be You Know Where today!
Many fans from all over the world are unhappy now since they can't see off the old cast at #CursedChildCastChange today. Instead of sitting at home and crying into your Cursed Child program let's mark this day as something special wherever you are. Take your Cursed Child program, book or ticket out to a famous sight in your town or landscape for example, take a picture of this item (or of you with the item) there and tweet it to @HPPlayLDN and the cast as a goodbye and way of saying thank you. The Cursed Child fandom is so international it would be interesting to see it in pictures. As a tag I'd propose #CursedChildCastChange or simply #CursedChild Please share this message! (But you can do this no matter where you are, and if you don't have time to go out, you could just do the picture at home.)
From Bournemouth, UK! *** I had the idea that the fans who can't be at the Palace for the cast change today, can take pictures of their Cursed Child programs, tickets etc. in front of a famous landmark in their city (or anywhere) and tweet it to Harry Potter Play @HPPlayLDN and the cast. It's a pretty international fandom so in the end we might have a big collage consisting of pics of places all over the world. Please share and join!
