Sandyseed - Warrior
Grumpy, great climber, natural intuition
Bio below:
Training was delayed by Laurelstar's absent mentorship style and death right before her naming ceremony. Stonefin stepped in to finish her final assessment. Dislikes her older siblings, and was shocked to lose her younger siblings in quick succession.
Was grateful to be selected as Breezemouse's new mentor after Lakota was killed by a rogue ambush. The boost to her confidence allowed her to confess her feelings to Lupo, who became her mate and parent of her kits. She was deeply saddened by Hillkit's death, and struggled to connect with Birchkit. Her second litter was born right after Otterwhistle's death.
She and Lupo enjoy annoying Heavyfoot together.
Although she had always disliked her older brother, she began to genuinely hate him as his time as leader drew nearer. She couldn't help but resent him for his absence throughout her life, and the more he reached out to her once they became the only family each other had, the angrier she became. She hated the idea of him leading the clan when he hadn't even been present enough to be a real mentor for Sandshade, let alone present for a whole clan.
Sandyseed used to be more judgmental of her children, but after losing half of them she has made a sincere effort to become close with those that remain. She wants nothing more than to cherish her kits while she still can.
Sandyseed's hatred for her brother became a point of disagreement between her and Lupo. Although he said he understood her perspective, he refused to acknowledge Duskstar as a poor leader. His affection for Reefpelt as his son-in-law was obvious, and Sandyseed bitterly refused to talk to him about the matter any further. She left camp alone to cool off.
Although she hadn't made much progress, Sandyseed was heading back to camp when she encountered Reefpelt. As they began to walk together along the rocky shores of the beach, he also confronted her about her feelings toward her brother. Offended by his boldness, she became defensive, and the conversation turned into an argument. She furiously recounted Duskstar's past to Reefpelt, but this only made the younger tom angrier. Before she knew what was happening, she found herself crashing down into the sea. As she drifted away from herself, the faces of her starry-furred kits began to crowd around her with tears in their eyes.
