I just realized I always write about characters with confidants or mentors who don't (literally or figuratively) fit in with the world around them. So far I have:

-An amnesiac young man from another dimension

I don't know what this says about me or my work. I'm sure I have even more, but those are the ones who pop into my brain right now.
