Tbh, I’d rather see everyone as their in game avatar. It’s much more fun :)

I think there's something to that. Also, I play GW2 and derp around on tumblr as an escape and my online avatar is a part of that. My escape is more fun when I can put out this idealized character that is a lot more charming and fun than I actually am, lol. 

I don't mind if others do it, but I have to say, I will probably STILL think of people as their online avatars even after seeing selfies lol.

Maybe it’s because the brittle bone shares the same icon and they wanted to make porous bones unique for the collections? :/ idk

Yup! That is exactly why they did it, they changed a lot of the trash drops so they looked more like tiers I guess? This was just the first thing I saw when I opened the patch and after all the rage beforehand it just made me lol. :)
