                   ˜”*°•.    How  could  the  simplest  of  choices  lead  to  the  most  serious  of  consequences ?  A  walk .  That  was  all  he  had  wanted  to  take -  for  once  seeking  no  trouble, only  the  serenity  of  the  forest  and  its  murmuring  sounds. Returning to Hogwarts with scratches along his arms had been far from the top of his list.  Funny.  It  hadn’t  been  some  dark  wizard,  some  troll,  or  the  result  of  his  own  carelessness .  it’d  been  a  bunch  of  spiders .  Of  foolish  spiders .

❝ In  my  defense,  I  was  just  out  for  a  walk. ❞ It’d  been  strange.  Never  had  he  encountered  spiders  quite  as  feral,  quite  as  powerful .  They’d  attacked  all  together,  almost  as  if  someone  had  commanded  them.   Or  perhaps  as  though  he had  simply  crossed  their  path  at  precisely  the  wrong  time.  He  stumbled  towards  the  sofa  -  why  was  his  life  aching  so  bad ?  ❝ Please  don’t  tell  anyone  I  almost  lost  to  some  spiders. ❞  Didn’t  he  have  a  reputation  to  preserve ?

Granted, Luna Lovegood was not normally the violent type. Much the opposite, in fact. But she felt fiercely protective of Nimue, for some strange reason. Perhaps she found a kinship with @sanguisproditor, or perhaps she just liked her in general. Who was to say? Either way, she didn't like the idea of anyone (especially a man) screwing over her friend.

"Mean things are mean for a reason." She said softly. Sure, Luna didn't often recognize them when they were being said to her? When they were about a friend, however? That she noticed. Exactly like Nimue said. "Perhaps we should just ensure we only say nice things to each other. Perhaps that's a start."

Luna understood entirely why Nimue would get overwhelmed. While the Ravenclaw was often misunderstood herself, and kept to herself because of it, she was truly more at ease around people. Even when those people did not find her presence to be as calming. So @sanguisproditor would never be judged by the blonde for getting overwhelmed.

What she would get judged on by Luna, however, was thinking that the Lovegood might not know about the glade. Of course she did. Still, Luna's brows raised and her tone came out sweet. "Oh, is there really?" She asked, pretending she had never seen it. She wouldn't rain on Nim's parade. "Shall we go?" Clearly, she didn't care about rules. They were made to be ignored. Just as she oft was.

Okay, so he might have been a little bit more than awed, impressed, and scared. It was like he was seeing her in a new light, almost. It was kind of hot. But Harry would never admit that out loud. @sanguisproditor was kind of like the yin to his yang, or whatever that was. While Harry was better at defensive spells, and protecting himself and his friends that way, Nimue was good at protecting people with violence. Which was kind of great.

It kind of felt like that time Hermione punched Malfoy, and Harry had gotten a crush on her for like two minutes. Again, he'd never admit to that either. "I didn't think you were gonna hurt me." He shrugged a bit. "It was just cool."

"You know- I could really get used to this." Harry's lips curved into a smile- open and affectionate, something that was only reserved for a few people... including his now wife. "Nimue Potter huh? Kinda sounds great." Admittedly he was still in a honeymoon-esque phase but honestly he wanted to savor every moment.

"How did you sleep?" He questioned gently.

Lily offered the girl a cup of tea, making sure there wasn't anything too questionable in it, having heard of her origins from the rest of the Hogwarts staff. The last thing she wanted was to make her feel awkward or pointed out. Harry already went through that himself enough and knew how he felt.

After all, everyone looked at Lily in the same way too, wondering how she managed to survive the Killing Curse.

"Here you go, this should help you feel a bit better. Was there...anything you wanted to talk about? I don't mind listening." There weren't any patients walking through the infirmary doors, nor did Madam Pomfrey have anything for her so she had the time.
