Atlanta is a rich breeding ground for incredibly talented street artists. Across the city you can find places where artists express their unique point of view and brighten up the urban scenery. I found this mural by Sanithna Phansavanh (@sanithna) along the bike path in Cabbagetown that is part of the Forward Warrior project. I’m so fascinated by this piece. I’ve gone back several times to admire it. The simple lines splashed with saturated blue and yellow pull you in instantly but the figure in the painting looks away - avoiding our gaze and leaving us with a bit of mystery wondering who she is. There’s a story here left to be told.
