I don’t usually ask for a fic or give out prompts but selfishly I want... no need one. If you are up to this of course. My prompt request is “The Movies”... Perhaps Chloe and Trixie finding Lucifer at the cinema? He is an avid fan after all...

It’s your lucky day because this is a prompt I get an awful lot! I have lots of TV loving Luci hcs and I have two more movie prompts here and here if you’re interested. 

He hadn’t answered her calls all weekend. The last time Chloe had heard from Lucifer had been their midnight glass of wine on Friday.

Today was Sunday and Chloe was in his amber elevator trying to convince herself that she was just worried and totally not clingy.

When she’d started dating Dan she’d been anything but clingy. They would go a whole week without a single phone call and not worry. She frowned to herself. In retrospect, she wasn’t sure why she was so surprised that they drifted apart.

But Lucifer was not Dan.

They’d had a proper date the month before and that had only been the beginning. Soon Lucifer’s jackets found their way to the backs of her chairs and her perfume clung to his silk sheets. There were littler things she noticed too: a light touch on the waist here or a hand carding through hair there.

It were other things she told herself that she would never let herself do that she found herself doing with him. She let him sling an arm around her hips while they waited in line for Starbucks and let him pull her into a few dances around Lux. But most of all, Chloe let him completely charm her.

She’d always been careful with Dan. She’d been careful with everyone, but not him. Never him.

Maybe that recklessness was what had brought her to now. Now in the elevator, arriving unannounced at her not-boyfriend’s apartment.

The chiming of the doors opening brought her back to the present. The crawled lazily open and Chloe had to force herself to not run into the room.

The scene she was meant with, though, was not the one her nightmares had been conjuring for the past two days. Instead of signs of a struggle or a party gone wrong, there was a figure wrapped in a heavy gray blanket reclining on the caramel couch. A bowl of popcorn sat on the coffee table next to a tumbler of scotch and Chloe had to pinch herself to make sure she wasn’t dreaming.

She carefully stepped over to the pillowy blob that she assumed was Lucifer. Picking up the bowl as she went, Chloe went to move the TV remote over so she could sit down.

“You touch that remote and I’ll take your hand off,” came the reply from the blanket-wrapped man reclining on the couch.

Chloe rolled her eyes and picked the remote up anyways. She shifted the bowl of popcorn in her other hand and sank down on the cushion next to Lucifer.

“What are you watching?”

The only answer she got was a loud hush.

She munched on some popcorn and watched the nurses on the TV. They looked familiar but she couldn’t place why.

“Is this why you haven’t been answering my calls–Netflix?” she tried again.

Once again, he silenced her.

When the credits began to roll two minutes later, Lucifer’s head finally popped out from his blanket prison. He wordlessly unwrapped it from his body and held out the ends invitingly in her direction. Chloe sighed, a tiny bit of tension leaking out of her. She set the bowl back down on the table, kicked her shoes off, and crawled into his outstretched arms. He wrapped the blanket back around them just as the next episode started.

Chloe recognized the title and finally the familiarity clicked.

“I used to watch Grey’s Anatomy in college, but I stopped at season seven.”

Lucifer’s mouth quirked up. “I just started four so you better not spoil anything for me.”

They watched the nurses mill around for another moment. “I’m sorry for barging in if–”

He cut her off. “Stay,” he said quickly, “The door is always open, Detective.”

Chloe finally let herself relax into him. They watched the show go on for a little longer before she got an idea. Grinning wickedly, she moved to whisper in his ear.

“Hey you know someone dies this season right?”

Lucifer choked. “What!”

I had a theory ages ago. Lucifer’s vulnerability is controlled by Chloe’s emotions. In 1x01 he is shot and he just experiences the pain but the bullets never hurt him. The further Chloe cares and eventually loves him the more Lucifer has to stay away from her or way too far distance wise to be invulnerable. Let’s not forget that in 2x12 Chloe had to go across the campus and only when she was pondering on whether to shot the Prof. aka she wasn’t thinking of Lucifer he stops bleeding when he tries to cut himself to check whether he is invulnerable or not. So it’s not really the distance either. Chloe controls Lucifer according to her choices, according to her feelings. She is the own to control there future not God nor Lucifer.

@adragonstale I was wondering if you would make it to this one so yes if I’m there we sure will!

Yes, it’s only a two hour flight, so why not. I have 8 hour train rides for other Conventions in Germany, so a 2 hour trip for Brighton? No big deal.

And I won’t come alone, my best friend will join us and also the adorable @antarctic-echoes will come (and spend some days with me in Germany)
