i asked you about the sanremo conference! i was wondering because people were pissed about it and apparently people were rude but i dont speak italian so i just watched their sad faces and didnt know what was going on lol
Yeah, I found the press conference right after I got the message.First of all, did you know that Il Volo got fucked over by the juries? (I’d say again but it was before Eurovision happened, so ya it happened to them TWICE) You can read everything here, it is in Italian but the charts are easy to understand (Shoutout to all the Italians out there who voted for them in the final but also in general! You guys are amazing, I mean half of the people who voted in the final voted for Il Volo? WOW)About the press conference:Piero is thanking all the Italians for their victory at Sanremo and added that they did not expect to win it actually. Apparently this was the first problem according to the sound the journalists are making like “as if you did not know”. But honestly, how could they have known? Later Gianluca added that he knows that most of the journalists and the press are not satisfied with the fact that they have won Sanremo but as it seemed the population is on their part (Which is completely true, otherwise they would not have won Sanremo. The Italian fanbase is growing and growing, they announced their tour with like 9 concerts in Italy I think? And now they are playing somewhat 20! concerts (those are not the exact numbers, I do not have them in mind sorry… but they said similar things in many interviews). Anyways… the press started booing and whistling, very professional (smh).Even when Ignazio started talking about how lovely their stay at Sanremo was and about their love for making music you could hear some stupid comments from the audience as he said they do not care about business.
It is ridiculous if you compare the applause Nek and Malika Ayane got to those two people who applauded at the end of the video. I do not get it why Italian journalists always have to belittle the good things we have in Italy.
