1. Favourite literary character?

Sirius Black. Accept no substitutes.

2. Favourite/most interesting historical character or event?

Jack the Ripper. It's a fascinating case, beyond the actual murders and the fact he was never caught.

3. If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be?

Hummus.

4. Books you would take to a desert island

Christ, I'd need to be shipwrecked with a steamer trunk. Let's see: American Gods, everything Tolkien, the HP series, the ASOIAF series, the Memory Sorrow and Thorn series, the Wheel of Time series, my library of Norse Mythology, and all my Jack the Ripper books.

5. Stuff you always take with you when you go out?

My phone, a can of Monster, and a book.

6. Chose a city to live. Why?

Ahhhhhhhhh Los Angeles. Which is totally cheating, because that's where I lived my whole life, but I love it here. I love it here, and I don't think I could ever leave it. Also, my basketball team is here. I don't think I could ever leave that, either.

7. Celebrity, politician, public figure etc. you absolutely cannot stand.

The GOP as a unit.

8. What sort of fanfiction you like?

My perfect fic is about 10,000-15,000 words with believable banter and a nice mix of plot/character study and porn. PWP doesn't really do it for me, but I also don't really have the patience for those hugely epic 200,000 word fics.

9. A man or a woman you find most attractive?

Aidan Turner. It's actually a problem.

10. Chose an alternative career to the one you have.

I currently have no career, because I'm going to school. Before that I barista'ed for about 5 years and waited tables for nearly 14. I would basically choose anything that is not retail or food service related. I would love something at a museum or library.

11. Favourite tv-show ever.

M*A*S*H. I have all 11 seasons on DVD and watch at least one or two episodes every week.
