god let me know if you find out, I have a hundred grudges, a thirst for drama and no self control

Sitting in the theater waiting for this to start. The woman who took my ticket looked me straight in the eyes. "Good, good, GOOD movie." @irisparry

my fave story of yours is halo. hux's new life was so immersive (uncomfortably so at times), and the ending was so triumphant and wonderful and I had such emotions. I've read it a couple of times now. 💕
Iris, thank you so much!! Your support of this story means so much to me, and I’m always so delighted to know that the emotional weight and atmosphere / setting works for readers! Since I’ve moved into SW fandom, my focus on setting has moved from what was largely a nature-and-body-focused one (with Harry Potter), to something a little more mechanical, a little more inorganic, but always sort of bubbling with the reminders of viscera (maybe HR Giger will always be my favorite SciFi influence). This switch definitely requires a little more imagination and work from me—I still struggle with it sometimes, but thinking about how to evoke the innumerable possible settings for canon-universe adventures is now one of my fave things to work with.
At the end of the day, AOHOH was a lot of fun to write, and overall I’m really happy with the way it came out. And I still haven’t forgotten about the tiny follow-up/sequel that I promised!

what’s your favorite story of mine?

this is such an #aesthetic
my life is hashtag aesthetic 🙌🏼
mango & blackberry
mango: what is your trademark?
Apparently it’s knowing weird, disgusting, or just plain depressing facts and statistics. I like to trot them out at a moment’s notice!
blackberry: is your life an action film, a comedy, a romantic comedy, or drama?
It’s a black comedy for sure. I’d be directed by the Coen Brothers.
pomegranate, apricot?
when do you feel the most confident? whenever i see people laugh at my jokes or really listen to me, that’s one of the best feelings in the world
what do you do when you’re sad? when i was younger i used to write my feelings down but somehow i quit doing that and i think i should pick it up again… nowadays i’m listening to sad music and crying until i get tired and go to sleep.
man i haven't watched primeval yet either and am in serious danger of building it up too much at this point because every image of him from it he's just preposterously attractive
I just love Justified so much that I feel like my expectations are inevitably too high, so I've been putting it off, but the attractiveness really is through the roof. How is anyone supposed to handle that? (The real reason Tim is not in this is because he wouldn't be able to handle it.)
