Give me a ship and I’ll tell you:
Who does the laundry and other chores: They decide depending on their work. Sydney usually gets some stuff done before she goes to work but if she’s tired in the evening, Ian offers to help.
How many children do they have: Two. A son and a daughter :)
Who’s more dominate: They’re actually really equal.
Favorite nonsexual activity: Taking roadtrips. They just love getting on the road and going somewhere to get a break from their lives in Richmond. As much as they love it, a break feels nice since their monotonous work schedules keep them from spending time together.
Their favorite place to be together: The butterfly park they went to for their first date. Sometimes they revisit it, for memories sake and because the place has grown on them.
Any traditions: Pretty much everything in their lives is a tradition. They believe in order. But one of their traditions would have to be Christmas evening; when Liam actually cooperates with family time and they all sit in the huge library in Sydney and Ian’s room. Liam and Carmen sitting on the carpet and playing games, with Sydney relaxing with a book and Ian playing some soft music. Another silly tradition would have to be when Sydney sometimes leaves a sock hanging on their bedroom doorknob. It used to mean that she wasn’t to be disturbed, back when they were only friends and roommates. But now it’s a silly way for her to say that once the kids are asleep she’s looking forward to having some “fun”.
Their “song”: In My Veins by Andrew Belle.
What they do for each other on holidays: Sydney usually wakes up at the crack of dawn to clean up the house, so that the chores out of the way. Then she makes him his favorite dishes, which always includes some form of lasagna. Ian finds her a rare, collectible book which she can add to her collection in her library.
Where did they go for their honeymoon: A tour of Europe. They started in Zurich, then went to Barcelona, then Amsterdam and finally Frankfurt.
Where did they first meet: She, honestly, can’t even remember. As far as she knows, she’s known Ian Jansen forever.
Any pets: Yep. A dog named Faraday :)
What do they fight over: A lot of stuff. What to do with Liam. Liam’s friendship with Hannah. His work. How less they see each other. Her going to Mystic Falls on her own. And sometimes, when Ian mentions her relationship with Adrian or reeducation, she gets really fired up.
Do they go on vacations, if so where: A lot of places. They usually take roadtrips so places they can drive to, but mostly places which are quiet and far from work.
