Miracles of Mata Nui

So I’ve been thinking about this concept of the machines that create the Matoran. We know some of them were the first thing the Great Beings created inside the GSR, but some others came along as these machines were activated when more Matoran where needed.

So I came up with a concept, from time to time these machines malfuction and they create Matoran without request, nobody knows why this happens, so the Turaga have decided to cover this errors with mythicism and the Matoran created by mistake were called Miracles of Mata Nui. The miracles are as follow:

-Jovan 

The Fa-Matoran are the rarest type of Matoran, for the implications of their powers. The creation of these type were the result of the Great Beings playing as if they were gods once again. Jovan was the first Matoran of gravity, and the first Miracle of Mata Nui.

-Mavrah

The Onu-Matoran obsessed with Rahi still has a role to play in the future, a great destiny awaits if he ever gets out of the Red Star.

-Dume

-Dalu

-Varian and Norik

The reason I put these two together is because they were created the same day at the same hour.

-Kapura

-Nixie

-Nuparu

-Takua

I know Takua was the first, okay? Yes, he was created by the GB as the first Matoran and was secretly and Av-Matoran, but... I never liked that. So I decided to change it.

Takua was just another Ta-Matoran, a quirky one, sure, but a Ta-Matoran nevertheless. He was not the first, he wasn’t the last either. “But how do you explain him becoming a Toa of Light?” I headcano-ed that the Avohkii can turn any Matoran who put the mask on into a Toa of Light. Jaller could of had been the seventh Toa if he wanted, but just as he said. “Being a Matoran is hard enough” . Takua being the chosen one in any way possible I feel takes away agency from him as the reader’s self insert. I personally feel a character is more intersting when they’re not the product of a thousand year old prophecy or last member of a super OP bloodline.
