SANTA01 confirmed visual over. 🇫🇮
starter call
It’s taken awhile, but Bethany is finally used to all of the Halloween decorations draped across store displays and for sale. Why anyone would want to spend so much money on cheap plastic she has no idea, but after the party she can at least see the fun in celebrating.
Which is why when the orange and black is slowly replaced by red and green, even before the day they call Halloween has come, she’s confused. What’s with this place?
Squinting at a window display that has fake fir trees and snow, Bethany tilts her heads and mutters to herself: “What holiday is this supposed to be for?”

matters of taste [ᴄʟᴏsᴇᴅ: sᴀɴᴛᴀ]
Coffee was a simple routine. You went to the counter, named your drink, then waited on the other end for them to hand out the caffeine meant to keep you going through the rest of the day. Nice, black coffee. Nothing added.
You know what wasn't simple? When Alvin grabbed a drink, took a swig, and felt an unbearable dissonance between what he should have been tasting and what he was. What the fuck was this minty ass sweet shit? He turned the cup in his hand to read the label. Yeah, his name wasn't Santa, either. Fuck.
