There’s no word that can describe how I fell in love when white meets blue in Camp Netanya, Anilao, Batangas.
I’ve always been a fan of Santorini themed places- Bellaroca, Balesin, Thunderbird Poro. Since I’m not a multi-billionaire’s daughter, those places will be dreams for now. So when I got to read about this place, thanks to wheninmanila, I’m really decided to go. Coincidentally, Jervis, who is about to be shipped to the Land of the Rising Sun, was planning a despidida in Batangas making room for my target resort. HA!!
Since a lot of people are asking me the moment I post in IG (follow me @beadeegee) , I’ll try to say everything here.
How to get there? By 9am, my friends and I meet in Buendia Jam Terminal. We rode a bus(P157) to Batangas City (Balagtas exit) Grand Terminal then we rode a jeepney(P35) to Mabini, Batangas. Ask the driver to drop you in the Mabini crossing then take a trike (P40). The trike drivers already knew where Camp Netanya is. Or you can just simply drive and use waze or google maps. Travel time is around 2-3 hours depends in the traffic situation. Since we went there during Bauan's fiesta, it almost took us 4 hours. Hassle sa bangs!
How much? The place is not a membership resort so you don’t have to worry about this. Room starts at P5000 for 2 pax and additional P500 every person in the room. Since we are 12, we rented 2 rooms for P7000 each. This includes the use of all amenities. Day tour is also available for P500. They actually dont mind being overcrowded in the room which is nice. Instant tipid. And also the room has 2 beds and 1 sofa and you can even ask for an extra bed. My bathroom is big that it even have bathtub. Closets and cabinets are available.
What to do? The moment we arrived, we just keep taking photos because the place is so photogenic. Let my pictures tell you. After changing to our swimsuits, we instantly jump on the pool because of the hot day we've been through. They only have one pool divided into 4ft, 5ft and 10ft. By evening, we just keep jumping on the 10ft pool, play stupid games and drink until you do crazy things. By morning, we swim in the beach but be careful because its deeps and rocky. We tried their kayak and snorkeling.
Why here? Basically, the place is gorgeous. No corkage fee and you can even bring your own food. The staff are very nice, they’ll lend you rice cooker, ref and griller. And also since the place is just small, I think only 10 rooms, you’ll never worry on noise and crowd. By the evening, there's only 2 groups present in the whole resort- our group and another one. Talk about sulit and our kaingayan!
How? I recommend you book your room advance because they’re usually fully booked for day tour. Here’s the contact no. 09279148143.
