Okay but the thing about the sanvers ultimates panel; i know they weren’t allowed to record and i respect their desicion and i appreciate all the tweets, it’s still sad that we don’t get to see their expressions as they talk or their reactions to questions and stuff. Life Moving Forwad

Ever since her break up with Alex, Maggie had been imagining different scenarios on how she would meet Alex, but the opportunity never arrived. She had practised a variety of ways on how she would ask for Alex to come back to her life. She had tried to think of several adjectives on how she would describe the initial feeling of meeting her ex-fiance. All of those adjectives were useless when she finally encountered Alex face-to-face in one of her cases.

After the chaos was settled, she and Alex decided to sit down, have a drink, and tie some loose ends. This was the moment Maggie has been waiting for. She started pulling out the letter she had prepared back then. The letter she had spent hours and sleepless nights on. However, after staring at Alex, she changed her mind. She slowly made her way to the girl who once made her knees weak.

"I would spend my days thinking about you and my nights thinking about us. I would imagine seeing you and would imagine how elated I would be. I have never wanted anything so bad for the past few months. I missed you, Danvers. So much." She used one hand to caress her former lover's cheeks to which the other responded so dearly. "A few days after we broke up all I wanted was to reach out to you. The only excuse I got was my passport. I feel so dumb now."

"You aren't, Mags" Alex takes Maggie's hand and squeezes it gently.

"I really thought I will never be over you. I loved you, Alex. I still love you, but life moves forward and so do we. I have never loved someone so genuinely as much as I have loved you. Loving you was the best thing I have done in my entire life. And if I were to go through the same pain again just to experience what it was like to be with you, then by all means." tears flowed from Maggie's eyes like a river to the sea.

"I love you too, Mags," Alex said with all sincerity.

"I've imagined many ways on how I would ask you to come back to me. I've thought of the right words, but they don't make sense. At least not anymore. I've accepted the fact that you and I weren't meant to last. I loved you and you loved me, but our love wasn't for us to keep and we'll be fully okay with that in time. Everything we had was worth the fight. Now it's time to let go. I love you, Alexandra Danvers. I will always love you the most." Maggie leaned forward to give Alex's forehead one last chaste kiss. She has loved Alex and so she did the one thing that would make her the happiest, she set her free.

Maggie was walking off the bar when she heard Alex call for her. "Maggie, wait. Who is she? The one that's making you happy now?"

"Kate Kane" she replied simply and returned the genuine smile Alex offered.
