THE DESERT IS THEIR ARENA. sun rays scorch upon a monarch’s presence & grains burn beneath toes but why ; she can never feel more at HOME. her pores greet every beam like any flower longs for the sun’s blessing. she’s armed with a wooden sword & a WICKED ol’ smile & challenges : ❛ in position , yes ? & now ------ you SWING ! ❜

“ Pardon me, but I do feel I should warn you! There are three Lynel’s up ahead. ”
@sapixntia Liked for a starter!
“What brings someone from the Sheikah Tribe to the castle?”

Zelda was utterly exhausted; the young woman was barely able to drag herself from the wreck of Hyrule Castle, where the Dark Beast Ganon’s body lay, decaying into ashes. Master Sword at her hip, a certain swell of pride to her, she walked down the bridge...and saw him.
The blonde had seen the figure before her in the old scriptures--one of her previous incarnations’ disguises given life. Sheik--that was his name. In the tales, Sheik was either ruthless, or on the side of good; it went back and forth. However, the tired princess was so very done with surprises. With a whine, she glared the boy down,
“What do you want now? I just got done fighting Calamity Ganon, by myself. So, whatever this is, can we do it later? Please?”
sapixntia was spotted!
“A Shekiah? Strange for you to be all the way out here instead of in Kakariko Village... You need somethin’?”
Teba’s voice was stern, bow within his winged hand and a rag in the other.

He was exhausted, Midna having claimed that she would now go off to find somewhere for him to sleep because apparently he ‘looked like hell and probably felt worse, given how he hides it’. Littered with cuts and bruises, but she’d been unwilling to let him just stop until they were away from Zora’s Domain and Snowhead from where they had just returned. Thrown around by Yeto, and his wife to boot, he wanted nothing more than to go home for a few days and rest. The twilight could stay for a bit, it wasn’t like anyone would suffer from being a spirit a few more days. Plus, much like Midna was warming to the world of light, Link was missing the chances he got to run through the twilight. It was calming, despite the fact that he couldn’t live there.
But until she came back to lead him elsewhere, he would sit against the trees, sword in hand on the off chance he needed to defend himself, and holding his other hand to his chest where he’d not had enough potions or salves to heal completely. In time, he’d be fine.
Of course he hadn’t planned on having company, a stranger approaching him. Piercing blue eyes regarded them warily, knowing without a doubt that they were capable, and could likely beat him as he was now.
“C-can I help you...?”
