Finally finished my first Sapnoblade piece, specifically made it for my Red String of Fate AU. I really wanna get to writing the first chapter, but my laptop is broken unfortunately right now 💔
the other reason I like my "c!Sapnap is actually aroace but has no idea what sexual/romantic attraction actually is" headcanon so much is that I like the idea of c!Techno and c!Sapnap becoming friends and c!Techno being aroace making c!Sapnap realize "oh you're like me that's how I feel holy shit there's a word for that???" constantly 😌
I was (and still am if you have it plz give it to me 😭😭😭) looking for the clip of c!Karlnap getting engaged (not c!Karlnapity, I'm pretty sure it was c!Karlnap first and c!Q got glued on later after eating his ex's heart) and I found some Sapnoblade content 😌
Kinktober day five - wax play
prompts: wax play
pairing: Sapnap/Techno
based on prompt by @zethsnex (originally for day 16: fireplay)
---
Just once, Sapnap wants to see Techno flinch.
It's not the only reason they're doing this. No, not by far. There are plenty of other reasons, the most important one of which is the way Techno will tense up and exhale and curl his toes, and clench around Sapnap so tight it drives him up the wall. Figures that Techno is into pain, and doesn't shy away from a little fire.
But Sapnap still wishes he would flinch. For his own cruel satisfaction.
"Ah," Techno lets out, unable to completely swallow it down as wax drips onto his naked stomach. His head tilts up, chin lifted and throat bared. Like a prayer to some incomprehensible god with every fiery drop. Even if it's only Sapnap hovering over him.
"Careful," Sapnap warns, shifting the candle lower. A thick bead of liquid gathers along the side, before pearling down the candle's length, impossible not to be likened to some other carnal, graphic image in his head. He smirks.
The little bit of warm wax hangs suspended for a moment. Sapnap doesn't give a warning. He waits, allowing it to fall in its own time. It hits exposed skin, Techno's muscles rippling around him in response, making Sapnap groan at the heat holding onto him tighter. But no flinching.
He puts the candle aside. "I want to try something else," he decides. Techno allows a noise of acknowledgement. Very verbose usually, he's oddly quiet when they have sex. Sapnap teases him sometime, because Techno won't admit it, but he's definitely somewhat of a pillow princess. He prefers lying back and letting Sapnap take the lead.
That's fine. Because Sapnap loves having his way.
He moves his hand down Techno's chest, shifting his hips. Techno moans breathily at the shallow movement of Sapnap's cock inside him, clenching again as if afraid he'll pull out. But Sapnap is only tracing down until he reaches his stomach.
Heat flows through his veins, and he brings a bit of it forward. His thumb smears the wax against Techno's pale skin, leaving behind a mark of red irritation. Not a proper burn, but close. Techno huffs, tensing beneath him.
And then when Sapnap pulls away, flames dance along the tips of his fingers.
Techno's breath hitches.
"Don't move," Sapnap says, softly. They have a safe word, so he trusts Techno to indicate if this is going too far. But the purpose is not to actually hurt him.
Sapnap's hand hovers, inches removed from sensitive flesh, the fire following him like a loyal shadow. It licks just barely at Techno, raising hairs, making his muscles lock in place. As Sapnap brings his hand down, he has to make an effort not to groan when Techno tenses further, squeezing him tightly. He wasn't thrusting before, simply enjoying the feeling of being inside his lover, but now he couldn't even if he wanted to, that's how tight it feels.
He goes to curl his fingers around the base of his own cock where they're joined together. And as the sting of the fire singes along Techno's clit, he flinches.
Sapnap laughs. "Don't worry, I gotcha." He dispelled the fire a second before properly touching.
"Right," Techno says, voice a little higher in pitch. Not sounding in the slightest as if he didn't enjoy that.
Sapnap believes this needs some further experimentation.

"You coming?"
Techno's voice startles Sapnap out of his spiral and he looks up at his partner, seeing that Techno already has his shirt off and suddenly feeling worse. He looks away, heat flooding his face, before he finally sighs and responds.
"I'm, um, I dunno," Sapnap sighs, then tries to wrap his arms around himself and winces, hard. "Sorry, I- I just-"
Techno's hooves click against the floor as he walks up to Sapnap, and Sapnap keeps his eyes firmly shut, trying to take deep breaths at the same time. He doesn't want Techno to see this. He doesn't want to have to explain this. He doesn't want to show how much his body is bothering him, especially when Techno looks just the same as him and then Sapnap will hurt him too and-

Sapnap is having a really bad body image day. Techno wants to show him he's loved.

GUESS WHO'S BACK WITH SOME SAPNOBLADE CONTENT? Me, so sit down and get your blankets ready cause it's a cold one ;) (and tissues ig cause I didn't mean to make it angsty a bit in the end)
Cause of the snow that is gonna hit my home, I started to imagine Sapnap stuck in Techno's house when an unexpected blizzard hit the area, and he scrambled for the closest shelter which ended up being Techno's house. Was he invited in? No, he actually ran into Carl's stable before seeing the storage room's door, and rushed inside when he found it unlocked. He expected to kinda camp there until the blizzard calmed down to make his way back to the nether portal but the storage door opened again, and Techno stumbles in with logs in his hands before dropping them down in a chest close by to shut the door.
When he turns around, he does a double take cause there's a demon (half demon) crouched in the corner of his storage room, shivering yet staring at him like a cornered cat with its tail and hair stood up ready to pounce with its claws. They stare at each other for a good minute until Techno decides he needs to get out of his snow covered clothes first before he even tries to register the intruder in his house. He doesn't offer Sapnap to follow or to stay, just walks over to the ladder, and starts climbing his way upstairs while leaving the hatch open as a silent invitation to follow if he wanted to.
Sapnap waits for a few minutes, having expected more of a fight when Techno suddenly appeared. When he doesn't come back down with a crossbow or suddenly spawn a wither in his own house, he uncurls himself from the corner he was going to camp out in, and makes his way upstairs where he can hear shuffling further upstairs where he assumes is his bedroom. He takes in the small, cramped yet homey scene before him with the kitchen being in one portion of the room while the rest of the area is the living room. Still shivering, he makes a beeline to the fireplace when he notices it in the corner, almost stripping himself bare just to curl up in the fire with how warm it is. The only thing stopping him was being in a stranger's (Enemies? Neutral acquaintances? Frenemies?) house.
After changing into warmer clothing, Techno makes his way downstairs to see Sapnap curled in front of the fireplace, and decides to make some tea that Phil gifts him from time to time. He starts to heat up the water when he hears shuffling, and glances over to see the demon having moved away from the fireplace to sitting on the couch when he finally noticed his presence.
"Do you want a change of clothes? I'm sure I have some old, spare clothes you can borrow to let those dry. The armor? Not so much."
"I-"
The mention of new clothes is tempting, but he doesn't know if he can bring himself to take off the armor. Sapnap hesitates as he debates the pros and cons, not even catching the moment Techno slips back upstairs to look for something small that the demon can wear. Normally, he wouldn't do such a thing, especially for a enemy/neutral party, but if he gets sick, he'll get left with dealing with him longer than he would like. Besides, he can tell the other hadn't planned to be here, most likely got caught in the storm and found his way here when looking for shelter. Yet, he could have also came here to look for Dream. He'll have to wait and ask later.
After finding a pair of clothing that seemed small enough for the other to wear, he makes his way back down to see Sapnap in the middle of removing his armor and putting them in his ender chest. He sets the clothes down on the arm rest, and goes back to the stove to wait for the tea to finish heating up. Sapnap waits when Techno is turned away to hurriedly change clothes, tossing his wet ones over a chest to dry while he practically sinks into the shirt and pants given to him. It's big enough to show collar, but not enough for him to trip over his feet when he walks back over to the couch to sit down comfortably.
Eventually, the kettle whistles and Techno fills the cups before bringing them over the couch, barely catching the mumbled thanks when he hands one over to Sapnap. Eyes stare a little longer than intended, looking away as he decides to distract himself with a book he hasn't gotten around to finishing yet. Techno makes his way over to a small bookshelf next to the fireplace, and takes a book out before sitting on the opposite end of the couch.
Sapnap holds the cup of tea in his hands without flinching at the scalding heat, his shivering having subsided after spending enough time by the fire. It feels warm when he takes a sip, but when he looks over at the piglin, Techno blows a little into the cup before taking a sip to try to cool it down a bit. He tries to see what book he's reading, but he didn't want to get caught staring so he goes to looking around the room to see if there's anything he didn't notice before.
"Why do you have a huge portrait of yourself in the living room of all places?"
"It was a gift. Where else would I put it?"
Snorting, the demon takes another sip from his cup before asking another question when he notices something out of place, getting vague or sarcastic answers in return. They go back and forth like this for a bit as the unnoticed tension in their bodies relax until one starts to pitter down from yawning. Techno looks up from his book to see Sapnap fighting back another yawn as he comes up with another random question, but he can tell it was a losing battle.
"Have you ever...burnt tea before? 'Cause I bet...I bet that would taste like shit."
Techno chuckles as Sapnap gives up trying to fight the yawns, stretching his arms up until he's satisfied and leans back on the couch with a huff. Closing his book knowing he won't finish it tonight, he sets it down next to his and Sapnap's cup on the low table in front of the couch. Standing up, he rubs the back of his neck to massage it a bit before making his way to the ladder since he's growing a little tired himself. He hears the soft tap of feet following him from behind, not thinking too much of it until he's upstairs in his bedroom with the demon next to him and a singular bed in sight.
"Are we sleeping on the same bed together?"
"No? You're sleeping on the couch. I was going to grab you a blanket."
"Oh...are you sure? You can have the blanket, I'm warm enough to last through the night without one. I'll even take the foot of the bed so we're not, like, side by side."
"Sapnap-"
He didn't expect the demon to be persistent about sleeping in bed together. He had an entire couch to himself, so why is he trying to sleep in his bed?
"No, you're going back downstairs with a blanket, or I'm kicking you out."
"The couch is great and all, but come on, I'm a personal heater, for Prime sake! You'll thank me when your toes are nice and toasty the next morning."
"Again. No. Just take the blanket, and go back downstairs. I'm tired, and you're starting to irritate me."
Why can't he just say it? It would make this go by faster and they can both go to sleep, but what if he thinks it's ridiculous? What if he calls him a child, and tells him to leave when the blizzard is still going? It's not childish, it's just called being-
"I...I can't sleep without someone else being there..."
"..."
"I know, I know this sounds stupid and childish, but I-I just get scared sometimes...I get scared I'm gonna wake up alone again. That when I wake up from my dream, they'll be gone. It's-It's stupid, I know, I already talked to Puffy about it, but she said it's because of like a response to my abandonment issues that I apparently have. Had too many people leave in my life I guess, so now I get scared that anyone currently in my life...will leave too..."
He shuffles his feet a bit, feeling his tail curl between his legs and wrap around his leg to give himself comfort. It was something he only recently learned when he decided to talk to Puffy after a rough morning trying to pull himself out of a spiral he webbed himself into until he sprinted out of his house and into George's room where the air feels stagnant consistently. She broke it down multiples times for him to understand, but each time, he denied it. Denied it until he woke up for the fourth time in a row crying because his bed was empty of two lovers who fell apart and left him feeling lonelier than he already was.
Techno stands there with his arms crossed trying to find...something. Anything at this point because he didn't know what to do. Emotions were never his fortitude, so suddenly having a little bit of trauma dumped on him is making this a lot more uncomfortable than either one of them it to be. Yet, he could understand to an extent. He didn't have many people abandon him, only his sounder because he was...different, but that's what made him better. Different meant he could do things no one else could, and he used it to his advantage whether it be growing a million potatoes in a week or having an empire before deciding anarchy is better.
Chewing on the inside of his cheek, he stares at the demon before him that is now twisting his hands around the bottom of the shirt, and making quick glances between the ladder and his bed. It was one night. One night of sleeping in the same bed as someone else, and then he can send him off on his merry way to the portal so he can go back to being by himself. Just one night, it can't be that bad...right?
"Fine, but the window side is mine, and it's only for tonight. The storm should be gone by then. Hopefully."
"Really?"
Sapnap practically perks up when Techno agrees, scrambling to get to the foot of the bed until legs sprawl out purposely to block his space. Glaring at the blocked space, he looks up at the piglin, and feels his face flush when he sees him with the blanket up and patting the open spot next to him.
"I'm only agreeing if we're sleeping regularly. I don't want you accidentally getting kicked off the bed, and getting a fireball to the face for it. Besides, it's only for tonight, remember? It'll be fine as long as you don't make it weird."
"Right! Right, right, okay, cool, cool..."
Nervously, he crawls into the space open for him, and goes rigid when he feels an arm drape over him before retreating after letting the blanket go so he's covered underneath the blanket as well. It's awkward as they adjust positions, trying to avoid touching each other, but once they realize how small the bed is, they eventually give up and face one another staring.
"Not quite as big as I thought it was."
"Well, kinda got it cause it was only meant for me. Never planned to have someone else sleep with me in the same bed before."
"Right, sorry, my bad."
Sapnap curls away and tries shuffling backwards closer to the edge until a hand pulls him closer, and finds himself pulled into a chest all of a sudden. It's surprising. It's weird. It's awkward...but it's nice. Warm. Safe. Whole. Comforting. And here. He's here, and he will still be here even just for tonight. Just for tonight. He won't be alone for one night. That's all he needs.
Techno doesn't say anything when Sapnap falls lax under his arm, or when he curls in a little closer. Doesn't pull away when his tail unconsciously wraps itself around his leg. Instead, he holds a little tighter, and finds himself soaking in the warmth the demon radiated off himself in waves. Maybe letting him stay for one night was a good idea. For the both of them.
