I agree with you in part. Yes, nobody should be running their mouth about who bi women end up with, especially people who aren’t themselves bi women. We are not less bisexual and we are not traitors of the LGBT community for being in m/w relationships.
At the same time, as I said, a lot of bi women are actively discouraged or even barred from pursuing relationships with other women, even if they want to, and that is a problem. Bi women also face much more abuse than straight women in m/w relationships, so the large amount of bi women being with men isn’t so much an indicator of them being happy with those men.
I’m in a relationship with a man myself, so don’t get me wrong here, I’m just saying I think we should be able to address the effects homophobia and compulsive heterosexuality have on bi women, while at the same time not pretending this means bi women are incapable or unwilling to lead long-term relationships with other women.
