Happy 22nd birthday to the guy I hold near and dear to my heart. The guy who stole my heart back in the 8th grade. My confidant, my valentine for the past 4 years, my bestfriend since '04 and my first love. This post may be a little cheesy, so I suggest you stop reading if you're squeamish of corny things. What can you do to repay someone that has given you so much? He only wishes the best for me, which is more than I could say for others. You know how some people say they'll always be by your side? Yeah, he never says that, instead he says he'll always have my back. He knows how stubborn and independent I am so he lets me do my thing, but if I ever do need help, he's always there to catch me when I fall. I've never had someone who understands me so much and still accepts me for who I am. He's been my backbone and my biggest support system when times get tough. He's always believed in my abilities even when I didn't. If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have survived my first year of college. Even though he's over 7,000 miles away and is studying to be a doctor, he still finds time to listen to me vent and make me laugh. Now, I know what you're thinking. I'm talking about him like he's the love of my life. Welp, I can't deny that I love him. But I just want him to know how much I appreciate him because you know, in the midst of our busy lives, sometimes you forget to tell people how much you appreciate what they've done for you and how much they've impacted you. In honor of his 22nd birthday, I think it's best that I explicitly state how much I do appreciate him. I wouldn't want to be in this rollercoaster of a relationship  with anybody but him.
