Realis characters and things I love about them

Now that we've seen more of the unnamed Sapryc band I love them so much I actually think they're all probably the kindest hearted ppl on Sapryc and best friends.

Jud - fascinating. A real gem of a soul whose principles of justice shine through even when his arm is fucked. Jud REALLY really really fits the character you'd expect from a squire, he is a paladin without armor. Just the memories of the knight he ate mmhmm. It makes us wonder as listeners how much of that is him or the knight that drives him.

Gaje - I love Gaje. Gaje is what if Guts was talkative and sensitive. Big huge guy who is definitely a good listener. A+ character work because it would have been so easy for Sylvi to play him as a taciturn CLANGzerker who's all serious but he's very communicatively serious which makes absolute sense duh, how else do you survive.

Sacha - Sacha is such a BAMF, she's literally in her prime. This shit ain't nothin to her, man. She's def the most mysterious of the bunch because she's got hokage powers and is moving like this isn't even the most dangerous thing she's ever done. Not her first rodeo. She's also having fun which is important here. She carries herself like those people you meet who know how to spark genuine joy for themselves during even the most difficult hardships. Sacha would be the kind of person to bring up a story about how she "found a neat perfume bottle once" as if it were some lowkey opportune discount at a store when in fact it was like a whole Thing where she had to trick Dracula (yes that Dracula) to get it ("just gotta smoke him out"). It's cool that Janine picked an old lady character because by realis rules she still hasn't *specialized yet. She has yet to grow!

Fleming- fuckin asshole. I Love him. I want to put him in the same room as those nerveless chancers and watch him and Wellaway eventually come to blows because the clown keeps ragebaiting him "revealing the secret" to his "magic tricks".

And rly I'll say this they're all kind hearted best friends because they've really risked their lives for each other in a way that does pushes so hard against the literal Hell of Sapryc. No one left behind (so far), and from the get go they're looking out for each other esp Gaje and Jud mutually. They remind me of the people who talk about how people, even strangers, help each other in the worst situations and places in the world "because that what you gotta do to survive, we all know it sucks here" and that's great. The BUGS are back.
