FIRST THE HAPPY TIMES:
Dick picked up Flashdrive and held it in his hands, thinking of all the data it contained, remembering every piece of code in it he had been through and analyzed the night before. It would never hurt him like Wally had, like anyone had. They would always have each other forever and ever and ever.
BUT THEN THE USB PORT MALFUNCTIONS!:
"NO!" Dick cried as he tugged his precious flashdrive out of the USB port. It had killed it, wiped the data with its disgustingly malfunctioning crappy software. "No," he said again as he cradled the dead flashdrive. It was gone. He was alone.
AND THEN A VIRUS HAPPENS:
"I'll save you!!" Dick cried as his fingers flew across the keyboard, typing as fast as he could. He had to save it, the flashdrive was being corrupted by a computer virus he hadn't been aware of. It was fading fast. He had to work faster, he had to save it... It was all he had left. The room was suddenly silent, the noise of the clicking keyboard gone. He was too slow, he was always messing up. And now the flashdrive was gone.
