This is an oldie, but goldie, with cycle 6 #winner Dani Evans, #4 Sara Albert, and #runnerup Joanie Sprague.
8. Sara’s Bald Beauty Shot
Sara looks like some weird high fashion alien in this shot. Her face photographed flawlessly and her eyes are incredibly alluring. She remembered to give a ton of neck and I love the delicate hand on her shoulder. Sara may have peaked in the first week (for me at least) but it was a great peak.
09. Sara’s Venus razor campaign
I used to think Sara overstayed her welcome in cycle 6 but this picture is proof she did pretty well for herself and earnt her overseas spot. The overall curve of her body is so exquisite, so pleasant to watch, and I love the overall serenity and calm emanating from this shot.
03. Sara
Sara just wasn’t competing in the same league as the top 3, so I kind of agree with her elimination. Though she definitely earned her 4th spot, as she has been really consistent since they went overseas. Sara’s face is gorgeous here, the soft side look fits the brief perfectly, and her features has been beautifully caught on film. Her body looks really good in that colourful swimwear (I just wish her ribs were a little bit less showing). The detail dragging this photo down are the arms. They felt randomly placed, it seems like Sara didn’t know what to do with it, and it looks quite awkward in the final result. She should have gone for the simplest pose by letting them hanging, and let the magic (and the beauty of her face) do the job. It would have been one hell of a shot.
03. Sara
Deciding between Sara’s and Joanie’s picture took me ages, I kept switching them until last minute, and I hope I’ll stand by this decision. This is such a serene delicate photograph. That pose might not make sense on top of an elephant, but the resulting picture is so pleasantly fluid it doesn’t matter. Sara is elongating her body with her legs, creating one hell of a stunning curve with all of it. And then her hand placement is so on point, she looks like she’s caressing the elephant, I adore it. Finally, her face just match the rest of the body, it is so strikingly beautiful, the best it has ever looked so far. She’s really cactching the attention and drawing the viewer to her with that intense eye contact. In fact, I might love this picture a bit more than Joanie’s. The reason I placed it lower is because her legs individually look quite muscular and less delicate, which is a (really tiny) problem considering it’s a razor campaign.
04. Sara
That hair styling just isn’t working for Sara, it looks weird in such a concept. Now onto Sara’s picture : the main issue I have with it is her face, she looks unsure and almost stunned here. However she did something way more interesting with her body. Her arms feel graceful the way they are positionned, and I like the fact that Sara thought about the outfit and displays this piece of fabric, it add a nice curves that makes the whole shot more elegant.
05. Sara
Sara’s concept was one of the trashiest of the week. Her set doesn’t even look like a doll box. Anyway, I’m happy to see that Sara at least seems like she tried to pull something out of this crap. The wide eyed vacant expression is almost there, it lacks a little bit of energy but she came close to get it right, so I’m not bothered by her face (and really like the tilt of her head). The fact her hands aren’t fully resting on her hips is the little element of the body that reminds me of a doll. It’s close to look like Brooke’s picture, but there’s an extra effort that makes the photo more convincing to me.
