04. Nnenna’s bald beauty shot
That first photoshoot was such a success, so many shots turned out great, with Nnenna being one of my ultimate favourite. Unlike most of the other girl, she didn’t go for delicate/dainty routine. I can see strength and power in her eyes, she legitimately looks like a queen. And the combination of the bright crystals with her chocolate skin just create such a beautiful image.
#2 – Kari’s Swarovski Shot
Why was Kari eliminated so early when she produced beautiful shots like this. Her head is stunning here, she is rocking the bald head. Her lips are unique and different, and I love how beautiful her eyes appear in contrast with the pink gems. Kari’s head is unique, and this makes the crystals look absolutely stunning, and expensive.
01. Jade’s Phuket swimwear shot
By my first watch of cycle 6, this photo already locked a spot in my top 5 shot of the season. But with time I’ve learned to love it even more, to the point I consider it to be the actual best photo of cycle 6. This is such an iconic picture, showing a totally softer, unexpected side of Jade, showing her versatility as a model. I don’t have words to describe how much I love it, it’s sitting up there with Elyse’s snake beauty shot as one of the best pictures in ANTM history.
07. Nnenna’s crying beauty shot
This isn’t the most fashionnable picture in the world, but holy crap is this striking. That emotion is genuine, it is raw, powerful, it pierces through my soul. And in the middle of the tears, Nnenna remain absolutely gorgeous. This is one hell of a photograph.
06. Danielle’s Venus razor campaign
The final one of the elephant shots. Danielle’s picture was my ultimate favourite, because I feel like it could work in any situation. I see a still out of a movie, I see a fashion shot, I see a razor ad. She has so much presence on top of this elephant, commanding all the attention on her, and nailed simplicity at its best.
02. Danielle’s bald beauty shot
This photo fell short of top spot on last minute. But it just reminds me that Danielle probably is one of the most gorgeous woman to have ever stepped into this show. Those luscious lips, that glowing skin and those feline eyes. Danielle’s beauty just takes my breath away in this photograph.
05. Jade’s falling fairytale shot
Finally, Jade is making her entrance in this list. The first call out she received for that performance was a well deserved one, as she blew everybody else out of the water (Well, except Danielle maybe). The body langauge, the red cape flowing in the air, the fierce expression, everything is bringing so much drama to the picture, and I’m loving it, plain and simple.
08. Joanie’s Venus razor campaign
Two elephants shots in a row. Joanie destroyed this photoshoot, and the fact she isn’t first in my callouts despite this knock out shot tells a lot about this week general level. Her pose is insane, who would be able to do that on the top of an elephant ? But still, she isn’t letting the craziness of the situation taking over, remaining calm, composed and focused, serving a crazy intense eye contact to the camera.
