Update 22/01/2015

I have completed everything I could for the main page!  The navigation page will be up next for an update.  Because I took down the old layout, the links I had shared crediting people for tutorials and help disappeared.  I will list them here.

Pyrrhic victory

So the day is won!  I have a theme, and it is beautiful!  (Or I think it is, and if you tell me otherwise, I shan't listen, I will cover my ears and sing 'lalalala')  And the fact that it is beautiful is ENTIRELY NO FAULT OF MY OWN.

Pretty much I spent the last two days banging my head on the keyboard and hoping something came out attractive.  I tried on about five different themes that amazing coders put together, except to fill in all the holes with graphics and colors requires someone that knows how to even FIND the right spots in the code, WHICH I CAN'T.  I begged help off of a dear friend, who patiently put up with me and worked me through a few spots, but it's hard to help the depths of my inability.

Eventually I found one that had exactly everything I wanted and was gorgeous, so I installed it and hoped for the best.  Fortunately, the kind coder whose code I'm using made it a little easier to figure out her code than the last ones I was using.  (Thanks, sarahcaths!)  I was still bumbling around like a very confused third grader with a head injury, but eventually (read: through lots of trial and error) I figured it out.  And now I am so happy!

And now I will NEVER CHANGE MY THEME AGAIN.

Yess, I did make it :D Gotten my laptop to stop freezing when I wanna make something yay :D
