Sooooo cute! How are they personality wise versus hedgies? (In general) I'm on my fourth hedgie.
They are incomparable, in my opinion. Not just because they’re a completely unrelated species but because they are really completely different from hedgehogs. I always say common tenrecs are a bit like having a cross between a cat and a pig. They’re social, friendly, enjoy hanging out with/on you (mostly during hibernation season), enjoy free roaming the house and have extremely strong snouts for uprooting insects in a thick layer of soil. They’re still pretty independent animals so nothing like having a dog around but they’re nothing like hedgehogs either.

I can't even tell you how much I fucking love that you scienced this shit all out.
😂 😂 😂 it’s not science so much as experience staring inside freezers and spacial awareness tetris. i’ve watched a tall-but-twunk coworker of mine crawl into and lay down inside a 16 cu. ft. chest freezer (with some scrunching), but a 14 is usually too short unless one’s curled up/kneeling prone. a 7 is much too narrow on the inside to accommodate for broad shoulders and would be a struggle with hips and knees in addition because the base of the freezer isn’t a flat bottom, but if you cut up the pieces then... probably. and everything is simpler once it’s field dressed and cut. if you think about it in a large adult male : mid-to-large doe ratio, i think my logic here is pretty sound. yee haw, chest freezers. XD

Hopefully one day on a bookshelf somewhere, haha. Tbh the gangster story is actually completed, I just am a scaredy cat and think it needs some work before I submit it to publishers.
The werewolf story was one year’s NaNoWriMo and I want to finish it but I don’t have an ending.
The dragon story was an old J2 fic I took down ‘cause I wanted to try and publish it but I took it down and then subsequently ignored it like the world’s biggest elephant.
