The Bedlam Stacks took me by complete surprise in the best possible way. I started reading it thinking 'ugh another colonialism book' but the more I read the more I found myself falling in love with the story. There is nothing more satisfying than a complete collection of books, all exactly the same size and in the same edition 😍 I recently finished this trilogy and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it! There was nothing exceptional or new about it, but the reading experience was overall very satisfying and left just enough mystery for me to want to read more by the author. It's set in an alternate universe where people are either Skilled or not, and people who aren't Skilled are forced to spend 10 years of their lives serving their Skilled rulers. It's an interesting read for sure!
